Erdogon is using the conflict to subdue if not eliminate the kurds by using isis to help do his dirty work for him, i dont think putin will be daft enough to react to turkey:s antics like the shooting down and the killing of a pilot. Imagine what would happen over here if an raf pilot was killed like that

Turkey have played possum Tbh.. Through inaction against Isis in neighbouring Syria.. The money laundered through turkey that ends up in Isis coffers.. They don't seem neutral.

Not a fan of Russia or Putin and his involvement seems borne out of trying to start a proxy conflict with the US as a swipe back for western sanctions ect.

I like neither party, turkey has many domestic issues related to their treatment of Kurds, their latent permissive almost accommodating attitudes to jihadists..

Dunno Tbh..

You might not like the guy but Putin's momma didn't raise a fool.

Anyone who thinks NATO will come to the aid of Turkey if they carry on like this should re-read their history books. America has 66-years experience of avoiding open conflict with Russia and it ain't gonna change the habit for that moron.

The EU has no real military as such, it looks to NATO to defend it.

No,the Eu military is a major part of NATO.

I don't know where you get your information, but I'm thinking, you should maybe seek sources, with a more realistic nature.

I'm talking about the EU defence force which is tiny, not the militaries of EU members.
