I bought a laptop about a year ago, now Microsoft office is saying my subscription has expired..... Do you now have to pay for this annually?

Was it a subscription for fire wall and anti virus stuff?

No just office....but had a poke around this morning and it looks like office 365 is a slightly different thing and does need an annual subscription... My balls up I think

Hopefully I can change it to a normal office licence that doesn't expire.

Not sure current prices, but office was about 100 for 3 installs license.

Works is rubbish, get proper office with word/excel etc
