High winds

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Does the sound of the wind howling around outside, (or in the chimney, as it's doing here), make anyone else feel cold, even though you're inside and it isn't actually cold?

The power keeps going off here but only for a few seconds at a time. Just enough to mess up all the clocks.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

No, it makes me profoundly grateful we no longer live in caves.

I ought to feel warm and fortunate to be inside but I've felt cold all day.

I've wrapped myself in my duvet. Unfortunately that's not entirely conducive to getting the things I need to do done.

If it's howling in Norwich,it's screaming here.

I have a massive fear of the wind so I'm staying wrapped up with the volume high
