Bear, not bare.

Just looking through a few profiles (As you do ) and I keep seeing the sentence "please bare with me/us." Now, I'm not the most articulate or grammatic person on here but I'm sure it's bear with me, not "bare" with me!

Am I wrong?

My good friends would correct my spelling mistakes as they know I would not be offended, as I like to be correct in my spelling and grammar, something to do with being a first generation immigrant I guess.
