Heard a news report of parents in Darlington who visit local school in pyjamas and slippers. Does this mean the kids are bound to be losers too ?

Op that makes them sound like they just pop along for a quick visit. The story is about parents dropping the kids to school in their pj's and in some cases picking them up in their pj's.

I agree with the head for commenting about it.

Wearing pjs to school isn't something i would do but does that really make them clueless? Maybe pushed for time, maybe lazy, maybe slovenly, but clueless parents? They may be brilliant parents (i haven't seen the story btw) but just don't give a Damn about what people think about them. Not sure it immediately makes them losers.

I'm not sure how long it takes to sling on a pair or jeans, jumper and shoes. A minute!

I wouldn't do it myself and haven't seen anyone do it at my lads school - yet.

Agree. But I still think it takes one minute to get dressed. Plus it'll ruin your slippers in this weather.

Takes minutes to throw on clothes turning up in pjs is just lazy.

I read this article, I'm in full agreement with the head as regards parents turning up for meetings and other activities in PJs. However, if someone has a few children and gets them to school on time, looking smart and presentable with a full belly I really don't think it matters what the parents wear.
