Ladies often view profiles in ninja mode, so you wouldn't know who had checked you out. If you use your filters , you can block guys. If you want to attract women, you need to message them. Not many sit browsing profiles....you need to go find people after reading their profile to see if you are what they are looking for. Hope that helps

Groomed, look like you have an unpolished edge.. But not too threatening . And possibly because you're heterosexual. Like some straight guys lust after lesbians .. So to do some gay / bi men.

In general, I don't always get some of the profile settings. Eg, Seawitch indicates she's not interested in single males but then is only looking for males within a certain age range. It's all Dutch to me

Those options look confusing and should be changed. It's because I have filters on to stop all messages. I am looking but it should say not accepting messages from men rather than not looking for men. I do my own hunting and gathering

He didnt vilify anyone, hes new he didnt know about filters.

he asked how he could solve the problem which was making him feel uncomfortable and hea done it now he knows.

Hes not been derogatory to anyone.

And id say that given how many women block all messages and choose to message themselves guys are definitly the hunted not the hunters on here

"Not looking for single men" in the looking for section of a profile means that person has blocked messages from men.

They may still be looking but they prefer to do the finding and contacting themselves.

It is confusing. It also only applies to men. Using mail filters to block messages from women/couples/TV and TS does not put a corresponding indicator on the profile.

I've been using various forums on and off for 15 years. Have had my fair share of forum drama, bannings, suspensions, post count reductions, all this petty, petty crap. I learned years ago to just avoid negativity, or if you do get involved, do it to inject some humour or defuse the situation in some way.

Happens all the time , just take it as a compliment. Pictureless female profile's get bombarded within seconds - naturally picture what happens to attractive fems with a pic... browsing through hundreds of profiles after sorting your inbox out would be... too much.
