If it's on, they can see you and you can see them. If it's off they can't see you and you can't see them.

I would assume it has to be on so Fab can access your location. Otherwise it just uses the postcode you entered.

Where do you turn this on and off? Is this a setting I don't know, or do you mean the mobile website when you're first logging in asking permission to get your location?

On the mobile version it's on the front page at the top.

On the left it says who's near on (or off), on the right it says see who's near.

I can't remember where it is on the desktop version.

I'm not sure it's even on desktop version come to think of it, since most desktops don't have GPS. Though some people use the desktop version on their 'phones.

I can't be bothered to check.

Wait until someone messages you while you're out shopping and it says "Within a mile". Paranoia sets in.

(thanks... Never realised that header was a link to an options page!)

Okay, turn it on/off and it's your phone GPS location and it will turn on/off local stuff.

So yes, includes your local visibility.

I believe so, yes. At least that's how it's supposed to work.

Unless it's on, your 'phone isn't telling fab where you are so they can't tell anyone else.

There was a guy on here a while ago asking why it's only men on it and complaining he's not interested in them!

Apparently fab are supposed to provide location services AND make sure there are hot women available on it, in all areas at all times!

Why are there only men on it? There are only men in your area with that function switched on. Duh!

Most women do the same, if they use it at all.

Otherwise you get a tonne of "I see you are a mile away, can I come round now/will you meet me and suck my cock now?"
