Single vs couple photos

Why is it that pictures of close-up sex acts are more popular when it's on a couples profile?

You always see single men's profiles boasting photos of them inserting their penis into a woman. You also see the same type of picture taken in a similar way on a couples profile and the couples one is more popular amongst fabbers. Why?

Ps. I'm not posting this to rant or moan but just to ask why

Generally you want to see a couple being together. I know I do, whether it's sexy, sexual or vanilla

If I'm looking at a single person, then I would be more interested in them and not them and a.n.other they might be playing with
