I am not Scottish myself and I have not been out on the hillside chasing the elusive beast that is the haggis.

Are any of you having a celebration? Just a little one or the full thing?

I went to a Burns night event on Saturday night. I got to get all dressed up and eat veggie haggis and dance Scottish dances.

Plus I got Marc in a suit

No. I tried to get him to buy one while we were in Scotland but alas no.

It depends on the herbs, really. Apart from seasoning, it is just offal. Not too different from faggots, really, which can also be nice. If you don't think about what you are eating.

I dunno what it's made of. Marc assures me it tastes close enough to the real thing to count though

Sounds like it's probably better than the real thing

New SNP legislation has introduced quotas on haggis hunting. If they are too small, they must be released from your baggie net. I believe Donald Trump has already bought up 80% of the quotas, so true Burns nights celebrations will be rare now in Scotland. Shame.
