Artificial sweeteners are your best bet or sativa extract " There are no artificial sweeteners without horrid tastes and chemical effects, I am afraid. I don't think spitting on food is a great idea, either. Oh, was that sativa?

The only studies that found anything provably wrong were on mice and were injections about equal to drinking 90 liters of sweetened deink in one sitting. So the water would kill you first

"Xylitol is an excellent sugar substitute that actually has a few health benefits, such as reducing tooth cavities. It is also less carcinogenic than sucrose. It also tastes a lot better than other sugar substites like stevia." Like many alternatives, it is still a compound with sugar at its base (and, yes, much less than table sugar). And like many alternatives, it can cause effects such as bloating and laxative. Why add any synthetic crap? Just avoid.

"Ditching sugar is hard but worth it. It takes time to reprogram your tastebuds and the headaches in first month are a killer. But once you have eliminated as much as possible it gets easier. Then reintroduce healthier options. Look into a low gi diet. And stuff that can stabilise blood sugar such as cinnamon. I use agave nectar on my porridge, only a small amount. Carrot sticks are a nice snack. Ultimately if you need a fix it's fine in moderation. Dark chocolate is far better due to the antioxidants, but still high in sugar. Good luck " Great advice, I gather a low gi diet will also help protect against type 2 diabetes too!
