I have been breeding racing snails for a while, and, in an effort to improve the speed of my champion racer, Steve, I took his shell off.

Trouble is, it didnt work, and now he just looks sluggish!

Nope, that would be cheating, if you read the "Racing snails, the definative guide" it clearly states in section 5, paragraph 9, sub-section 4, sub-para 3 that "No artificial lubricants or fake "slime" is to be used to gain unfair speed advantage".
