"Mandarins, Satsumas, Tangerines, Clementines, Easy Peel " Satsumas are your basic and most generic tasting small, sweet/tart orangoid fruit. Squat in shape. Clementines tend to be much more fragrant, have a stiffer skin, and not as juicy, but sweeter than sats. Rounder in shape too. Easy peel are just commercial names of clementines or satsumas. Tangerines look a bit like satsumas, but are generally more sour. Mandarins are smaller than all the above, have a very thin skin, are a bugger to peel, and tend to be more tart too. I take my fruit very seriously. Lol. | |||
