10 w? It doesn't really matter at that level. A Peavey or Orange, but nowt is going to really cut it at that level.

Fender frontman's are cheap and reasonable. Get them thrown in with a lot of starter electric guitars, like Squiers.

Not cut it! My neighbours will be the judge of that. Was looking at a vox pathfinder or marshall g10

That's a reasonable swap. I've spent thousands on guitars that I no longer play. Wish I had traded with a Mars bar instead of money.

If you like a dirty sound at that wattage go Marshall. If you want some decent delay and a lush reverb go Fender. If you want a bit of both with some nice crisp twanginess then Vox.

Or get a Line 6 effects pod and a Roland Cube.

Buy the neighbour the other side a bass and you've got a band though (I'd go Vox with those two guitars).

Line6 Spider.

Its a modelling amp so will have a few effects thrown in.

Alternatively buy a Pod, connect it to your computer and download a slightly dodgey copy of guitar rig. Everything you'll ever need right there.

You should sew my collection. I have numerous mid sixties Strat's and Tele's. A mid eighties Kramer Barrett's, a very rare '92 Gibson MIII and numerous guitars that I've built myself.

Don't get me started on amps and stuff either.

Wasted money on a Peavey KB/A 15 practice amp. Meant for keyboards but suitable for lead guitars.

Has only been out of the box 3 times. (Twice, because I'd forgotten how crap it was).

Recently found a big Carlsbro amp in a charity shop. 30 years old but in good nick and sounds amazing. Bloke gave me the wrong manual - it said 10W but turned out to be 90W - oops!

Suck that, neighbours - (she's learning the oboe... toot bloody toot).

I went off Marshall's because of constant reliability problems, the JCM 900 was particularly bad.

I forgot the Diezel VH4 from that list, I still have that one too..
