You're probably correct there, I used to love Geography at school and still like learning, although a lot of countries have changed names, capitals and borders since 1979 when I was last in class

I've been round most of Europe, although never to Poland, it does sound like a wonderful place to visit

I'm sorry, but you this is definitely one of those times when capital letters are important. Otherwise asking "Is anyone else going to Warsaw in march?" will inevitably make someone think of this...

And that just wouldn't do

We'd love to go down that salt-mine with all the carvings though.

Mr ddc

Google 'Wieliczka Salt Mine'.

We wanted to include it in our 1st European Road Trip, but it was the same time as the European Football, so it all got too complicated

I wouldn't know one end of a football stadium from the other.

(which is presumably why they swap over at half-time?)

I think you can usually catch Mark from ALIMARK munching a pie at half time, maybe you could ask him for the correct directions

I love Poland. It's a stunning country. The people can be a bit miserable depending on their mood and the prices are comparative to many other European countries, but if you venture slightly off the beaten track you can fine some amazing places to eat and drink very cheaply and the people there are friendly and welcoming. Enjoy

Warsaw is great.

Been a few times.

You should go and witness the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier
