Salad Cream v Mayonnaise

Which do you prefer? Just been listening to Radio 2 and it seems some people feel that salad cream isn't as "posh" as mayonnaise. Personally I don't think you can beat it, so that must make me "common" haha"! So which is your favourite? xx

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

I would have always said fresh mayo....but having recently been reintroduced to salad cream for the first time since I was a kid I would struggle to make a decision on this these days.

But agree with Kev, the salad cream has to be Heinz

I have homemade salad dressing on my salads.

Salad cream is an important ingredient in a Asian-inspired cold noodle salad that I make.

Heinz salad cream for me - on almost anything. Even put it on my dinner if run out of HP Brown Sauce (apart from gravy or beans). Have always loved it - even have kept one of the original 'fat' glass jars it used to come in. Is displayed proudly in my living room for all to see and always raises the same question - why do you have an empty glass salad cream jar in your living room? In quite a few years it will be antique!

Salad cream on toast = nom nom nom nom .....
