Ok, lately ive had a few single guys message me and have noticed they have been on site a year and only had webcam verifications.....would you think thats either a) theyre not meeting and just after a sly one off the wrist on cam...or b) just bloody unlucky!!

We have met a few really great gen guy's from fab lately, so we look at it as his loss, not ours and are arranging some fun for tomorrow hehe hope we can get a couple of gen guys turn up. lol.

We have met a couple of guys,no veri's and been on here over a year,they were lovely..

The reason why they had been on here so long without a veri was because people on here are too hung up over veri's,the longer a guy is on here without meeting people more people wonder why they been on here so long without meeting someone,the funny thing is one of the guys has been verified a couple more times since we verified him so goes to show that a lot of people wont meet anyone unless they are verified.

verification has to be the best way to go!! there is always gonna be guys play people about with meets! in my it's the best way that couples and single women can rely on a possible meet, we are all busy people who value our spare time! so to pissed about by some guys, i can imagine will put you off single guys completely.

Yep, once we had a couple of veri`s we noticed the difference..

And I haven`t put some of our veris up, because they weren`t honest ....the meets were a tad iffy...tho they said wonderful things ?..

trying to meet people when your not verified is very hard to do for either a couple or a single until someone gives you the benefit of the doubt

to be verified wouldnt it also be better to get to site meetings

people do wonder why they havent been verified when they have been on here so long its a shame as they could be nice people

I'm one of those people if I saw a sign that said "wet paint" I'd touch it...just to be sure. Therefore what total strangers may or may not say about someone I'm interested in meeting has absolutely no bearing on my decision whatsoever.

I meet men who haven't been verified, and they've been having a whale of a time on this site and others. They don't care about verifications either. Whilst others are reading what others have written on profiles they're out there getting their rocks off.

How people wish to use the site is down to them...if you want every meet documented - good for you...if others don't feel the need to...good for them!

It took me about 3 months to get a veri from a meet and the regular forum posters will know I spend a lot of time on here... too much

So an occasional user could well be on for months on end before getting their first meet let alone a veri.

I read veris but I'm not obsessed with them.

Me too!!

Verifications do not = Genuine people!

I met a guy from here who was a member for over a year and was not verified...yet he was an absolute honey and 100% genuine...and I myself was a member for 5 months before I decided to go ahead and meet...I had my reasons, as all others may have too...ie, not on here often, work, having a life outside Fab, not obsessed with getting verified to name a few!

I was pretty lucky in that I was steered toward this site AFTER I had been to Chams so pretty much had a verification in waiting.

My only problem with guys who have been on the site this long is not so much their lack of veris but no pics and very little friends too. Just doesn't say a lot for them.

Im one of the ones that does take notice of verifications - not really fussed about the content but if someone has met in person its some indication that they are not just here to chat or cam.

I know it is no guarantee at all that they will meet again etc etc but its just an additional thing to consider - along with phone calls, messages, their profile and most importantly gut feeling.

Im sure I may well have missed out on some nice people, but up to now my 'vetting' process has served me well so Ill stick with it.

But sometimes verifications can be useful for checking out what folks say on their profile....plenty of 100% straight guys have veris saying they give the best bj ever, and quite a few fannys have been filled with jizzum from guys that only ever have safe sex...go figure.

I'm not in a massive rush but it does feel like waiting to lose my virginity all over again.As some have said the content of a verification may not be important-but I'd like it to be seen that I do actually meet!

people dont have to get a meet to get verified .there is always the option of going to the meny socials that get posted on forums .shows they make an effort to meet people and after meeting people social could well get a private meet . however ,as people have said just because a persons been verifired doesnt mean they are still a garentee to actually show up to a planned meet, but i think will help the odds

What surprises me most is that it seems to be such an issue for some. If you see a profile you like what difference does it make if they have verifications or not?...if you don't like it why bother.

Yes, they do. I recall arranging a meet for 1pm, saying text me when you arrive as my office is literally a minute away. Ipm...nothing, so I assumed it was my first no show.

1.30 he texts asking if I'd changed my mind. He arrived at 12.45 and thought as I'd said 1pm I'd turn up at that time. When I didn't show he thought it was some sort of test - bless him - and didn't confirm he'd arrived.

All well that ends well and a fun playmate!

I have to admit that ,because I only meet at Chams, verifications mean nothing to me as most friends I add AFTER I've met them. I've only met one person solely from this site and didn't have a face pic or look at his verifications (for one, it took me too long to read his profile lol). I guess some people need to see verifications to prove the person is who they say it is i.e not a man posing as a woman/couple or vice versa.

the first veries are hard to get we found , we got ours through socials arranged by the site.

we dont consider a"ive talked to this lady on the phone" a genuine verification ..or ive seen this couple on cam!

we find the only people that verify couples and singles that readilly are the ones hoping they are for real

I was thethere was me and 3 oher lads in there, from the inside, when its dark, you can't see out as the lights from inside reflect on the windows, I put it down to a learning curve, next time I will go out, oh, and forgot to add that I had no idea what the other person looked lime as I had no facial foto before, another one that I've learned

But on the other side just because someone has been on the site over a year doesnt mean they have been active on the site, thats just when they joined

I'm quite happy to meet with guys who are unverified, I make sure I communicate with them, initially through here and eventually on the phone.

It doesn't take long to suss out the ones who genuinely want to meet or just cum-cam sex text etc. Communication is the key word.

obviously not all single males are the same and some people do and dont take into account veris.

for me if i have a meet and agree to it then i stick to it as dont want to let anyone down as plenty of people are and it cant be nice.

nothing wrong with peeps being here for just web cams etc but as long as that is what they say they are here for.

Maybe your post was a little missleading, I read it as it was also an option not to show your verification "tick" if you so wished together with the verifications.

Yes you get the green tick if someone verifies you, even before you accept or show/hide

There's an option in advanced search to only search for people who have been verified by meeting in person.

Are you sure? I think it's the exact opposite.... the green tick appears as soon as the verification is left, regardless of whether the profile holder has read it or not.

There was a young lad in the chat room at the weekend BEGGING everyone to give him a cam verification..... obviously hadn't read his own profile recently, as he had the green tick "verified genuine profile"
