Waiting for summer!

I can't wait until it's summer again!

I love being outside in the warm sun with barbecues, drinking, friends and family.

I also can't wait until I can start growing fruit and veg again.

What about you? What do you like about summer? What will you be doing?

Picnics

Visiting English Heritage or National Trust sites or just going for an all day walk, bringing a picnic for lunch, and finishing the day at a pub. I can't wait for summer.

Yes. We have maps up all over and we check off the places we've been. Our count of English Heritage sites is well over 100 (and some of those we've been to more than once).

Yes, it's interesting. There's actually a small, hidden castle just a few minutes walk from my house!

If you're ever in the area, take a look. It's in a woods called 'Wepre'. It's very interesting. As kids, we used to play there very often.

I used to do this too but I have to avoid doing a lot of cycling now due to an injury which I sustained a few years ago whilst climbing a fence.

Last summer we went to our home country where is summer like 25 to 30 degrees, sunshine all day long, warm evenings and nights, swimming every lake and crystal clear small river very deep in the countryside so so beautiful we fucked in the meadow and river so clean, clear water around and I still remember the sunshine reflecting in the water, buzzing wild life around us...the fucking was awesome!

Days spent watching cricket with a bottle or two of wine and picnic.

Not having to wrap up to take the dog out.

Light mornings walking the cliffs in Dover.

An allotment in full flourish.

Late evenings sat in the garden.

Summer dresses.

Fly fishing.

Summer's cool. Warm Nights outdoors, BBQ, festivals, days at the beach etc.

Don't want to wish the year away though, It goes fast enough as it is. Anyway I quite like winter and spring.
