Heard Cliff Richard and the Young Ones before singing 'Living Doll', proper took me back to when I heard it as a kid.

Also made me remember Rod Stewart's 'Mowtown Song'.

What songs were your favourites as kids?

Knew all the words to Ozzy Osbornes Bark At The Moon when I was five....

By 9-10 I knew all the lyrics to all the songs on Sargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

Also listened to a LOT of Frank Zappa as a bairn....which probably accounts somewhat towards my skewed n slightly warped view of the world......n I wouldn't have it any other way!

Its one of those tunes that gets in your head and you can't shift it. So annoying.

"Anything by TRex - Get it on x"

That reminds me of another one. I had one of those 'Top of the Pops' compilation albums, that had recent hits but not performed by the original artists ( crap eh?). I git given one, must have been around 70/71 and it had 'Jeepster' on it, and I also remember it having 'Gypsies ,Tramps and Thieves ' on it by Cher ( or not Cher in this case!)
