Cooking. I have made home made lasagna cottage pie cooked a roast dinner.

Getting to be a dab hand in the kitchen. Found my passion for cooking again.

Now to find someone to cook for lol anyone care to join me

I enjoy cooking some times more than others. Now that I don't have to cook for a family and can afford a bigger variety of ingredients I gain more pleasure from it too.

I also love cooking and will be doing a batch cooking day later this week. It's good to know exactly what you are eating, rather than filling yerself with loads of E numbers and copious amounts of salt & sugar

The only thing I've found is cooking for 1 is not easy at all and shops don't sell stuff for 1 person

True. It's difficult to get used to catering for two when you've been cooking for a family too, we often find ourselves eating the same thing two days running because I've over catered

I've found mine again too... I had soup at lunchtime and I'm totally making that again! It was quite possibly the best tomato and basil soup I've ever had!

Cooking from scratch at least means I know what's going in my food. I'm going to make cauliflower mash tonight.

Sorry I'm very sensitive about my dyslexia yes I suffer. I find the forums a great way to fight against it. I know I'm not thick just my brain is wired up differently

I wasn't having a go at you, I genuinely thought it was some new type of food (perhaps mashed potato instead of pasta sheets). I do not think people with dyslexia are thick.

Thank you and no I purely missed a comma sorry for any confusion. Funny thing the spoken word can be expressed in so many ways. The written word can be taken in just as many ways but without expressions or depth of tone big hug and again thank you

It was only a missing comma... I was confused to because I had in mind a pasta topping instead of potato. I get it now. Have to say if you are dyslexic it doesn't show.

I'm not that keen on leeks but the tomato and basil was from the chunky chef if you google it. Scrumptious!
