After being on here when part of a couple..paul & Emma/naughty by nature..bright red hair if you remember, meets and verifications where forthcoming yet now I'm a single guy .. People won't even talk or reply .. Now I know singke guys can be a pain for couples and singles as I experienced it.. But what is a normal genuine guy to do!!

I thought that too but I'm polite, not rude as I was when part of a couple .. If I do get a reply it's always no verifications so no chat.. Vicious circle lol

Haha..I know how frustrated we where when we got rude mail from singles I get there's plenty to choose from but how the hell you suppose to get a veri if most won't entertain you because you already don't have any!

Club visits, socials etc that's how many get verified

I've asked for just socials..but there seems to be a reluctance due to the non veri.. And ppl bring messed around before ????

Look for local clubs and their own rules regarding single makes. Some you have to be members of, others offer specific nights where single men can go. Find one, and contact them and they will happily advise you

I've always been single on here and have gone to many socials and clubs on my own, there are usually other singles there as well, both ladies and men

How about veris from people you met as a couple, at least to say you are genuine.

OP I assume as a couple you had some veris, could you ask some of them if they'd verify you now as a single. They have met you and therefore pretty sure no fab rules will be broken.

It's easier to get verified if you attend clubs or socials so that's a route to take possibly.

Or some go in the chat rooms and get a Web cam verification. Offer to buy some lunch or a coffee to someone locally.

Another idea is to see who is looking for a meet and contact them. It saves the cold calling of messages.

Only thing I can add:

I get far more messages now I'm not looking, have taken most of the info off my page, and I don't proactively message or chase.

Instead, I chat and get to know people without expectation.

I think it's maybe if there is a hint of neediness or desperation you will turn ladies off.

Seriously though I've seen profiles of ex-couples with veri's from people they have met previously. At the end of the day it's to say you are real & like your profile, not a performance review.

I've yet to meet someone due to their verifications. I met my other half on here, unverified. A funny, intelligent message. He could care about verifications either.

Some people seem preoccupied with verifications!
