The US kills more people than any other group around the world. Perhaps we should be banned from ever leaving American shores. My point is that it is a small number of muslim people in the US who do these things. Bad people do things in the US all the time. At the same time as the shooting in California that was attributed to Isis sympathisers happened, a crazy Christian dude shot up an abortion clinic in Colorado. You barely even heard of it over here. Acts of violence happen all over the place for difference reasons. Many times bad things happen because of Christianity, or racism, or nationalism. I think what both trump and sanders both typify is the dissatisfaction with mainstream (establisment) politics...
its not really that different to what corbyn managed to do here with a ground up grass roots movement.....
trumps used his own money and very little advertising (actually lets the news networks do all his work for him).... and bernie has a army of small donators....
I've not shelled out any money yet.... I waited till south carolina last time before donating to obama....
I'm closer to donating for bernie than hilary.....

Neither has strong appeal in the middle ground and none at all with people on the opposite side of the left/right political divide.
