Burns night

I will be celebrating my 1st Burns tonight with friends who r having a burns night. Never tried haggis, do they taste bad?

Not if you mix it up with the tatties and neeps. I'm having the haggis as a stuffing in rabbit this year for a change. xxx

Haggis is an acquired taste but it's well worth persevering. Some are spicier and more highly seasoned than others but all, in my opinion, benefit from having a large whisky poured over them once they're on the plate. Another glass of whisky should be handy to wash the haggis down.

I had haggis with burnt potatoe and i saved the burnt parsnips for the bin .....

Good job i have a sense of smell. I seem to love burning veg.....

What's good for cleaning sugary charcoal off your pans ?
