He seems slightly slow in his speech etc slurred almost. I wondered if he was on some medication.

He has had a history of drug abuse..maybe that affected him.

Or as other suggested maybe het lag or alcohol

And I was a massive friends fan! And still find it funny..and have plenty of my own friends! !

He did say he's a recovering alcoholic. He was on to promote his play in the West End and seemed coherent and lucid just slow.

I liked Friends and still watch it now and again.
