Hi all

Yes I have tried everything and its more a medical condition with the wife so please don't judge

Wasn't always so bad with my wife it used to be epic sex but the last few years have been dire

There are all sorts of circumstances and no-one knows but you and your wife. I feel sad too because I wish for you both that you could talk about it together. I like open and honest communication and that's why I'm single. It's hard to come by because sometimes it is hard to be honest. I find it liberating and it makes me happy. I'm sad that not everyone feels like that.

I hope you can work things through for yourself and for your wife and come up with a solution that makes you both happy. It's only too visible in our surroundings every day that life is short. We should all be grabbing it.

It's so hard, in contrast to my life, and many here, op. Like others it's refreshing to hear you share your experiences.

Whilst I can see that you've done some communication, I hope that you will both be able to talk more deeply. I can see that it would potentially be very sad to explicitly get both of your feelings out into the open. There's perhaps grief there, for the future that you both had once planned for.

Good luck OP. I was in a remarkably similar situation 3 years ago. I hadn't ventured onto the site but I knew that something needed to change. I so desperately wanted that to be with my ex. Sadly it didnt work out like that and after things came to a head I had to try and pick up the pieces of my life.

Fab isn't the be all and end all though and even though you may feel like a kid with his face pressed against the window of the sweet shop, many people have been through long and trying times to get to a point where they can be sexually liberated. Just as many are still going through them.

If you want to make it work then you will have to be determined

I feel your pain bud, although the circumstances are slightly different. It's easy for other people to put their spin on it and give you advice but in the end it is us that are in control of our own destiny. I have tried to talk to my wife in a number of occasions but to no avail.

You probably feel a little trapped like I do but life is not as black and white as others make out especially when the day to day things are okay. I hope that you find a solution that works for you and your family
