Who have you tried to book a ticket to see only to be foiled almost every time?

I've just phoned up to book a ticket for a chap who is probably the funniest comedian currently working after being tipped off he would be doing a new material night, only to find they sold out within 30 minutes, even with sod all advertising.

So my question is who have you wanted to see but had little luck in actually doing so?

Ray Davies. I'm lucky with friends in the events industry to get tickets to almost anything, but I've never seen him. Shame.

Tom Waits; he rarely tours but when he has I've never had any luck with tickets and I've been willing to travel worldwide
