Just below half way down a more on my right side. It's not constant, comes and goes, sometimes every 5-10 seconds. Sometimes every minute and sometimes even longer.

I have googled, but it hasn't been a great deal of help.

Happy Friday

Without knowing you, being medically qualified or actually knowing what I'm talking about I say muscle spasm. I also say don't diagnose yourself or let others do so from the internet.

Get anti inflammatory cream, take paracetamol and if it doesn't go away see someone with a medical qualification.

CONISTON .Stoke Suburbia. Staffs. BARMOUTH. The Lakes (Monthly)

Without specific history and thorough examination who knows......could be something as simple as a UTI. .... treatable with Nitrofurantoin and plenty of fluids, or it could be any number of other things... GO TO YOUR GP xxxxxxxx

Could be your liver just passing the alcohol though because it's not use to its working a little harder. I use to get it when I drank more then normal it passed within a few days x drink plenty of water, pure orange juice or cranberry juice to help flush it out. Take ibuprofen as it's a anti inflammatory as well as pain killer x

I could be totally wrong but from experience and your symptoms sounds like it xx

if it's been longer then a few days or u get any other symptoms I'd go docs xx

You've probably just strained or pulled something OP. You have got a bit of a glass back! Take some ibuprofen and rest up. Put some heat on it or have a nice long soak in a hot bath. You'll probably be ok in a day or two. If symptoms continue then see a qualified practitioner
