Anyone visited Le Mans?

Thinking of stopping over in Le Mans - not during the race on the drive to Cap.

Anyone got any tips?

I stayed at a guest house in the town while touring on bikes, plenty of places to stay and eat. Make sure you check out the old Grandstand from when the race was run on the open roads.

A pal and I went to Cap via Le Mans but didn't stay over. Interesting place if you're a petrohead. Otherwise it just another French provincial town.

I think you might have Reims in mind, not Le Mans?
