Duck face pout vs a good old smile

Just perusing the good old book of face and got to thinking about the amount of photo's of women doing the duck face instead of smiling.

I just tried doing it in the mirror and looked like I needed to get to the loo pdq!!

Anyone a fan of this or are you with me on this smiling malarkey?

I'm more of a smiler. Or a slightly startled bunny in headlights. No way on earth can I pull off a sultry pouty duck face and I look bastard ridiculous trying.

I got a selfie with pixie lott a couple of montha ago while working. She has a beautiful smile but as soon as the camera came out she started doing a ridiculous duck face. If she wasnt so hot and it wasnt illegal I would have slapped her. Ruined the pic

I'm a fan of the good old cheeky smile, with a twinkle in the eye. Follow that up with a lower lip bite and it's perfect.

A little hard to portray in photos though.

I just can't find an attractive face to pull when taking a pic. I look in the mirror and i don't think i look too horrendous...i take a pic (pout or smile) and i look like Quasimodo

Duck pouts are damn awful....and if i ever turned up to meet and there greeting was a duck pout...id ask them to sue thier plastic surgeon.

young people pouting I get, as that's what they do these days instead of smiling.

adults pouting I don't get, I think it makes most women look hard in the face or like they have wind ~ not a good look, stick to smiling

Smile every time, not enough people on here or in life generally smile. Smiles are warm and friendly.

I think generally I find it hard to warm to people who don't smile.

I don't smile in posed pics but I can't really do a duck style pout. My smile is big and I'm all teeth like the osmonds. My eyes crinkle up because my smile is big. Looks stupid. I've tried to do a small smile but that doesn't work either so I keep a straight face
