My goldfish is a bit thick

Here’s the thing,  I won a goldfish at the fair a few years ago, everyone said he’d only live for a couple of weeks, but he’s eight now.

As soon as I got him home I named him.  Goldie.  Yeah, original, I knowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I got a nice tank for him, lots of things to swim around and interact with.

Little castle, some plants, a mermaid, a treasure chest, all sorts of fun stuff.

Goldie gets fed every day with the best fish flakes money can buy and I change his water and clean his tank regularly.

He recognizes my voice and when I walk into the room he swims over to the glass and rubs his little face up against it, so cute.

I “chat” to him every day and we really have a bond, he’s such a lovely cute little chap.

Every day, when I feed him, I call out “Goldieeeeeeeeeeeee” and he swims straight over for his brekkie.

He’s so tame, I can put my hand in the tank, put my thumb and forefinger together to make a circle and he’ll happily swim through.

Every day I call his name, have a chat, and give him a tummy rub.

Every day, for the last eight years, bonding.

Every day, “Goldieeeeeeeeeeeeeee, its Markoh…………………………”

Every day for 8 years and the thick twat still calls me Bob…………….

I had a Puffer Fish called P Diddy who was very tame.

Can fish hear?

Serious question!

"I had a Puffer Fish called P Diddy who was very tame.

Yes they can

The only way to accurately tell a fish's age is to examine the growth rings of the otolith (lit. EarStone) in their ear.

Unfortunately the fish has to be dead to do this

If he's dead, he wouldn't be able to hear would he?

What did the fisherman say to the magician?

"Pick a cod. Any cod!"

Menston near Ilkley

I was in a fish and chip shop the other day and spotted a notice on the glass of the warming tray:-

'Please don't tap on the glass, as it frightens the fish.'

My fish did that too, after I'd had him for years. It was a betta fish Marc got me while we were dating (he said flowers were overdone ) I thought it might be a bad omen for our relationship that he killed himself

Maybe ya should have gone for "the rabbit" instead been a whole lot more rewarding playing with a rabbit everyday for eight years ( mind the cost of batteries these days, could get expensive)
