Just watched straight outta Compton on DVD, our first purchase of 2016.

It was awesome!! Both massive hip-hop fans so we loved it. Sounded beautiful on the soundbar and subwoofer we got at Christmas.

Next cinema vists will be hateful 8 and the revenant. DVD will probably be legend.

Some great films due for release this year, what's everyone looking forward to?

We watched The Lobster the other night. I loved it. It's a bit Wes Anderson-ish but much, much darker.

Have read similar stories about hateful 8...shame really since django unchained was the last Tarantino film we watched and they was brilliant.

We're getting four Terrence Malick films this year, Hail Caesar! looks really fun. Fans of Drive should look out for Neon Demon.

I hope Deadpool and the BFG don't suck. And I have confidence that Rogue One will be half decent at least.

Black Mass was excellent

Everest was excellent

The Martian was e...brilliant

Selfless was brilliant

Vacation was hilarious

Spy was really funny

Staright Outta Compton was ok (as well as San Andreas)

Spectre was underwhelming (which includes Terminator Genisys & Mad Max)

Hateful 8 had excellent cinematography was a lot better than the weak storyline.

& tonight I watched Solace and that was brilliant

You have to love an MXQ running Kodi with Navi-x plugin

Awesomely formulaic maybe. They should have just left it alone.
