Took my 3 children out for a roast dinner Sunday lunchtime. My two boys aged 18 & 16 and my 8 year old daughter. As I went to the ladies I was 'recognised' and approached by a guy from fab. He asked if I could chat with him for 5 mins, I explained I was out with my children and suggested he send me a message. When I go back to join my family the guy then comes over to our table and says how he thinks I am stunning and would hate to miss the opportunity of getting my number! I was fuming! My boys were uncomfortable and my daughter confused.

Report and block.

Invasion of privacy, take face pic's off.

Tell him to take a running jump.

So people don't understand how this works do they.

What a fucking creep!

Why people feel the need to approach people they "possibly recognise" off the internet is beyond me.

I actively avoid people I know whilst out and about, can't be arsed making that shitty small talk and pretending you care

Not a nice thing to happen and I hesitate to tell people to change their behaviour because others can't moderate theirs but it is a risk you run if your face pictures are so easily available on here.

Having said that he's a fool.

Don't see why I should have to remove face pics, he should have just shown some respect! Don't think he was d*unk but who knows.

My boys were embarrassed - at that age.....don't like to see their mum getting chatted up!

I have spoken with people from here in work, but they knew where I worked as we had been chatting on here prior. Just spoke as friends would and went on with our day. Nothing seedy. That guy sounds like a right creep. Probably thought you'd be so worried he would out you as a swinger you'd give him your number. What a prat.

I don't see why you should either, all I say is there will always be people like him.

So inappropriate! Unfortunately there are going to be people on here who have no clue how to behave with discretion, hence my lack of public face pics.

I hope this never happens to me when I'm out with my son. If I looked uncomfortable my son wouldn't be happy and he's not a small man. My girls wouldn't be happy either. I don't know what reporting would achieve though.

Wow that's dreadful

I recently went in a pub before Christmas and noticed 3 guys I chat too off fab no one approached and I talk to them daily

I agree report and for privacy take face pics down and share them with the guys you want to meet

I would never dream of approaching someone I saw on fab in real life. What an invasion of privacy.

He needs reporting and removing from the site.

This is supposed to be a safe community of people who respect one another and show the proper curtesy.

And you shouldn't have to remove face pics, because people on here are mostly respectful and decent people.

Sorry you had this experience and that your kids had to witness it.

Hope it doesn't put you off fab.

Well admin couldnt do anything.

Because it might all be made up (not saying it is) but admin can only act on what is internal to the site.

Report what to whom? To admin? What do you expect admin to do in this situation?

Yes the guy was totally out of order, but there's nothing admin can do about people approaching each other away from the site

Hmm, good point. Usually calmer at thinking these things through, but was so outraged thinking of myself in the OP's shoes, that I spoke without thinking.

I do have his username as he sent me a message 10 minutes later! And the message even states how he couldn't resist approaching me.....saved it so could show admin

bad form is that - and he has done himself out of any chance - what worries me about people like that is if they are that stupid when you are with your children what would they be like elsewhere

If you have issue with another member, it's best to report them to Admin and block them.
