Do hotels send booking confirmation or other information out through the post to your home or is it all via email now? Silly question probably but just making sure

It depends how you book and what you ask for.

If you book online you'll get a confirmation online, usually.

I think it's mainly email nowadays - Premier Inn send my email, text if you wish, or an invoice on arrival

If you sign up to loyalty schemes, you'll possibly get post. I receive mail from Hilton Honors regularly.

you can opt for email only ,paperless but they sometimes send promotional stuff booking a hotel are we without partners knowledge naughty

I have NEVER received any promotional stuff through the post from hotels I've booked online.

I'm not in any of their loyalty schemes though
