"Did one a few years ago as a first time diy effort. Dead easy to make a nice hole in the roof, then read instructions and realised that a separate sealing gasket was required. It was Sunday so nowhere open. Bugger! Made one out of dpc. Not leaked yet and lots cheaper than buying one branded by velux. " we finished in the dark, it took a bit longer than we thought it would ha ha. It was interesting trying something new

"Just done 2 in the loft conversion.... 1st one took a while as we found it a little tricky at first. 3 more to go in the annex, I'm hoping one day to fit them!" the bit that gave us a little bit of trouble, was we made it a little bit to tight a fit, so struggled to get the frame in once we folded the felt around the rafter,i think if we did it again we would do it a lot quicker
