I feel very accomplished today as I expertly (under the guidance of YouTube) took apart the centre console of my car and fitted an aux cable to the back of my radio.

Unfortunately the headlight bulb beat me and I had to call in daddy mechanics

What have you done recently to make you feel accomplished? And what did we do without YouTube?

I went the Gym and cancelled my membership, I have only been using the sauna in there for about 6 months and have only been there 3 times since November it was costing me 25 pound a month, I have been using another Gym but never got around to cancelling that one until today

I took apart and then reassembled in working order the turbo pet hair tool for my vacuum cleaner. I actually took it apart and reassembled it three times but it didn't actually work until after the third rebuild. The tool for the Dyson is much more well designed than the one for the Henry.

It didn't make me feel accomplished but I am pleased with myself for finally bothering to list a couple of things on Gumtree.

They've not sold but at least in a few days I'll be able to take them to a charity shop without feeling guilty for not trying to sell them first.

I tried that initially but there are a couple of people on the local FB selling pages that make it more trouble than it's worth.

You know the sort, they chime in on every post that it's not worth what the person is asking, or moaning about something the seller has said, (like must be collected this week whatever), or saying the item is crap, whether they're interested in buying it or not (usually not). Fucking up people's sales is their entertainment, apparently.

I can't be arsed with it and use Gumtree now.

I haven't done anything for ages that's left me feeling really chuffed with myself. The last thing was making a shoe rack out of an old pallet, and before that it was pulling out a horrible 70's tiled fireplace, cleaning and repointing the bricks and fitting a wood burner. I was ever so chuffed after that

Repaired the washing machine and its working perfectly now.

Its ten years old and I have kept it running.

Though since I was on the design team that built the thing in the first place . So maybe I had an advantage

To be honest i got about half way through and spent 3 hours looking for the plastic sheeting that was supposed to be the first covering on top of the roof... after much deliberation i decided that i used it as the suppression covering underneath the foundations... so after resolving to pay more attention to the instructions and a trip to B&Q was back on track!!

Actually no. I have used the inbuilt cubby compartment formerly known as the ashtray as the storage compartment for my newly fitted aux cable
