Finally done it, signed up to Amazon prime and am watching episode 3 already.

It's holding up well to the book too

It's an excellent series - combining several storylines from novels such as Echo Park.

Series 2 airs this year. Michael Connelly had a hand in adapting / writing the series.

I bought all the Bosch novels on a Kindle Daily deal, just started Echo Park. Enjoying them immensely.

If you like that sort of book, have you waa add Jeffery Deavers 'Lincoln Rhyme' series?

Bosch and Iain Rankins Rebus have a very similar feel, main difference being the cities they are based in

You can get a month's free trial of Prime although I don't know if that includes the TV service.

Students get 6 month's free membership and then a 50% discount on the usual price. Again I'm not sure if it includes TV so check first if you're interested.
