It was hurtful if im honest!

After the last 6 months or so, I have started to feel much better about myself, and this has put me right back to where I was last year

All of us put ourselves on display here and from time-to-time, are attacked; nose too big, nose too small, breasts which look like mosquito bites, etc, etc, etc. Really knocks ones confidence

But then balance it against the vast majority who like you

I won't say that don't feel bad about yourself; it is a natural reaction when some is cruel. But try and forget about this one person and think of all the others who found you attractive

You allow insults to get you down , so look at it as a chink in your defences . Face it , fix it , and move on .

Look around at those around you . Where do you see yourself around them ?

Until you feel equal to everyone you will be prone to these feelings .

I think unfortunately in this Internet age where everything has to look good on Insta Or the Book of Face people are becoming so much more judgemental and influenced by media (social or otherwise) Into what they are SUPPOSED to like, find attractive or desire. Also as our lives are broadcast more and more on the Internet I feel that peer pressure plays a big influence over who is perceived to be desirable and who isn't. It could be the case that some are rejected On the basis that friends may disapprove and It becomes a case of keeping up social media appearances.

It may not be that a person is actually ugly (or even fugly) it's just that they don't fit into that media friendly image and as such get rejected.

Works both ways sometimes on here people get put down for the opposite. You get ugly hate pretty hate thin hate fat hate.

It just shows a lot of inherent unhappiness in the world.

Take it as a reflection of them not you.

Fugly.... oh dear, some people just get kicks out of putting others down.

I am fully aware I am not a great looking guy, but I do not consider myself to be fugly either. True I do lack confidence but I just see myself as an average looking bloke with an average body. Nothing special here about me at all. And therein lies the reason I am single as most ladies want more than the average bloke
