"I've had a lovely afternoon listening to Cerys Matthews, Edith Bowman and Guy Garvey on Six Music. Now Jarvis Cocker has just come on and I've had to turn it off! He gives me the total heebie jeebies! I can literally hear his slavers! Is it just me? Or is there someone you just can't bear to listen to on the radio? Not a big fan of Sarah Cox or Jo Whiney either. Poor Jarvis. I for one love him. " Yeah but when you can hear that noise when someone is talking it's grotty!

"I have heard of NONE of the people in this thread. And yet I comment. -Courtney " I had you figured as a Radio 4 person. I might be wrong. I do enjoy surfing intenet radio now and again. Getting preachers from the mid West and weird phone ins. I tend not to dwell for too long but it is fun for a short time.

I download my own music and get important information from newspapers and TV news. I probably would listen to radio 4 if all else failed, though. -Courtney

" When I was in high school I listened to a reggaeton station a lot. Then when I was older I stopped listening to the radio because I took the subway everywhere and not my parent''s car and you can't get the radio in the subway. When I got older it was a station called "fresh" so I could sing pop music at the top of my lungs while driving. My dad listened to npr (which I think is like radio 4?), and it used to either be really interesting or put me to sleep -Courtney

Mind I dare say I'll be listening to the breakfast show in the middle of the afternoon.
