"Was just after some advice, our smoke alarms are hard wired into the house with back up batteries, they keep going off for no reason, there's no smoke and checked everywhere in the house, changed batteries and gave them a clean but still going off, any idea as to why? There not even that old " Depending on the type, there's many things that can trigger a smoke alarm. Ours can be triggered by static electricity, dust, spray from aerosol, and even smoke. It is worth giving them a hover out every so often, and being careful not to do things close to them which may be a trigger. Try to spot patterns to when they're going off and see if you can link that to a cause. Cal | |||
