how do i allow new members who have not payed to mail me?

hi i had a message off a male whos teamed up with a girl on here and was looking for a local male who can accom to join them, when she got through she said her f/b had tried to contact me but it says payed members only why is this? i never asked for that, and i cant find where to set it any differently? i want anyone to contact me if they wish thanks, please mail me as i dont follow the forums much steve,

Go into account setting then message filters. Sounds like you have it set so only site supporters can message you
