When I went back to my old job in may it was only officially to cover maternity leave for someone.

The girl Is due back in a few weeks and is meant to be going in today to discuss what's happening with the manager, she's meant to be ringing me to let me know once the meeting is over, I'm a nervous wreck!

This job is perfect for me, fits around school hours and Is with within walking distance of home and school. I don't drive and public transport is shit, the town I live in is tiny and so finding anything else local is going to be hard if I don't get to stay!

Keep your fingers crossed for me please!!

Well apparently childcare is gonna cost too much so she's gonna write her notice letter and hand it in.

Sucks for her but yay for me!

I'll not celebrate fully till the letter is handed in tho!

I hope spending time with her child is a positive choice for her. Don't count your chickens just yet, in case a grandparent decides to step in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though.

Well I'm very grateful for the time I got to spend with mine while he was little, her fella works so I'm guessing it wasn't financially viable to put 2 kids under 3 in childcare for her to basically spend the money she would earn part time paying for it.
