Being sexually liberated, meeting amazing like minded people is brilliant and partying hard is what its all about.. yet fab has now become more of a chore than a pleasure, when you have to constantly filter through the fake profiles, fake pics and time wasters it becomes so mundane to even sign in to the site...

We strongly believe that each profile should have a mandatory green flag as verification, or some kind of ID verification.. two main reasons, firstly to create a genuine profile, second for user site safety should a meet go wrong!

Pretty much every other form of online experience for users requires genuine verification (webcam, gaming, gambling) .. i appreciate some will say they want to remain anon but then happy to hand over credit card or phone details and some will say its easy to filter fakes or spot a fake, but we arent here for that and if a clean site meant a little extra funding then we'd not take issue with that, please please do something fab, its a real issue.

But I'm verified and 'genuine' without having to do any credit card stuff or other verification of who I really am.

If people are going to create 'fake' profiles for whatever reason, they will create them.....even with a credit card and verification system there will still be profiles you consider to be fake.

Im not suggesting credit card as verification, i meant they hand over to pay for fees..

A ID system (passport/driving licence) is a solid system for most sites.. rather than holding up a sketchy bit of paper with your username maybe a selfie with your passport would improve things.. !!

We are quite happy with the site as it is. It is not hard usually to spot the fakes.

why?

if there are fakes, than just ignore them, surely your able to work them out them easily enough? it's not rocket surgery. it's not up to the site to hold your hand, the tools are already there for you to use..

you want madatory green tick? you have it, you just have to apply the rule yourself....no green tick, no reply, easy.

don't make everyone else jump through hoops to save you making the effort having to think for yourself

i for one certainly don't want to be giving my card details or crap like that to.....who? fab? no thanks, they're not having my details cheers

if i had a passport i would't want to be giving any details off that either to be honest.

sorry, it just sounds like your saying you'd happily pay a couple more quid and hand over card/personal details to save a tiny bit of effort.

I'm doing ok without putting personal ID on a website. Anyone I suspect to be fake I get rid of asap.
