Has anyone else watched this .....was hooked and binge watched it in 2 days, it is a documentary, set in Wisconsin following the story of Steve Avery, a man imprisoned for rape and only cleared 18yrs later by D N A evidence He is only free for a couple of years when he is accused of murder...is he guilty ? innocent? framed by the police force ,who seem to have a grudge....i would love to hear from any others who have watched it and there thoughts as to the legal system in operation and the dubious characters we see in some troubling scenes .

Only read this if you've seen the whole series. It's quite a read.

Brendan( the nephew) yes, his lawyer was like someone from a bad B movie...he plumbed the moral and legal depths for even a lawyer....

I've just finished watching it... apparently Netflix are facing lawsuits over it for not showing everything. It's a shame because it appears to have been edited somewhat but it's all a bit corrupt. The first case was a disgrace but I'm not so sure that the second one is all it appears.

It's certainly left me feeling like the justice system in the UK is a whole lot more reliable.

I've watched it all and read the bits of evidence that the doc left out. Where as Steven Avery could be guilty and should get a re trial which will be near impossible to be fair now Making a Murderer has blown up in the states so near everyone has a pre decided opinion. Brandon Dassey should be pardoned no evidence at all links him to the crime apart from his coerced confession. His so called lawyer was a disgrace!

I thought that Steve may well have been guilty...but one thing really nagged away at me..why when he had 3 days before the police came calling would he not dump or crush the car and remove all other evidence. the keys? on which his DNA was found but not the owners ...really ? almost as if someone "planted" the evidence
