seek out an Aloa Vera plant at your local market. It has tremendous healing qualities for such problems. Just cut a small part of a leaf and rub the gel inside on offending area.

It will be quite happy growing on your kitchen windowsill, just don't water it until it is dry each time. (The plant that is).
