Hate it hate it...

I am proposing that for the first 2 weeks back people only have to do half days to ease back into work...

Who is with me on this?

Other suggestions welcome

Welcome back fella! Hope the training was good!

The first day is the worst, get that out of the way and it's like you've never been away!

Ah I may just totally have contradicted you above! Ha (sorree!)

Believe me OP - it'll make things seem better than they really are!

Dunfermline

I'm a shift worker so only had a couple from days off over the Xmas period. I really don't see why it's so bad for everyone as you've had a couple of weeks off so should come back all refreshed and ready to start again.

It's my 2nd day back and so dead. More importantly I am struggling to get up in the morning so it's a mad 15min dash to get ready. Thank the gods for electric shavers lol

Training was awesome...4-6 hours a day in 30°+ heat. Lost a couple of kg and got way fitter

Training was brutal! Morning session was 2 hours...

15 min warm up

1:30 of 5 min rounds of sparring, drills, pad work, bag work. At the end of every round 20 push ups, 20 sit ups.

15 min cool down..200 push ups, 200 sit ups

Afternoon session same but more sparring...

Lunchtime was 2 hours of either traditional technique or double stick work. ..10 pysh ups for everyone if someone dropped a stick..

Oh yeah and some gym work.

One session a week was on the beach. Starting with a 2 mile run barefoot in soft sand..
