What do you think would be the worst job for you? Im watching Deadliest Catch on TV and thinking how much I would hate to be a fisherman.

Back where I belong

Worst job for me would be cleaning up vomit - can deal with anything except vomit.

Macmillan Nurse could not do that job. I would end up taking it all home with me.

Hats off to them.

My brother constructed sewer pipelines for a couple of years. The days spent up to his neck in shit while attaching the new pipes to the existing ones sounded like hell on earth. That's definitely the worst job

I've already worked jobs where I've had to deal with poo, vomit, mice, bugs, etc. So I think I could handle that ok.

I would say the worst job for me would have to be working in a high security prison or in the army. Being in a position of having to hurt and potentially kill people would be too much for me.

Work as a cleaner ,have cleaned pubs, schools the lot ,nothing phased me . Also work part time doing care and that upsets me .it's the lonelyness of some people ,the illnesses and the worse is end of life .that really gets me .

London

Summer of 76 worked in an industrial laundry during school holidays. Hell on earth wouldn't come near to describing it. Galvanised me for my final year in school. I knuckled down, hit those books and hung on my teachers' every word, horrified I'd end up working in such an environment. Forty years on I still shudder.

Also worked in Casey Jones at Waterloo Station (the Costa's back in the day) serving hot beverages to the commuters. Their dismissive and rude attitude sustained me through college: I mentally thanked them all when I passed all my exams with Bs (A's were rarer than hens teeth when I was a girl ).
