Good Evening Fabbers, Friends and Forumites

Well for many of us it was our first day back in work. How did it go? Good day?

Pooch has been busy catching up on all the latest scientific and political news while I have been slaving away in the Jam Butty Mines of North Wales. I managed so sneak off early and surprise Pooch , with a lovely walk. He was a tad perturbed as he was finishing a paper on Faraday’s Law on Physics , a law stating that when the magnetic flux linking a circuit changes, an electromotive force is induced in the circuit proportional to the rate of change of the flux linkage. He is such a studious Hound.

We had a gorgeous walk and watched as the afternoon passed into the gloaming of the evening. The clouds enveloping the Carneddu Mountains. We also met some of his chums, and a new pal with a most beauteous owner. Ah a Taffy can dream.

Pooch and I chatted about his and my day and pondered the big questions in life, such as. Why is it so hard to say ‘Irish wristwatch’? Go on, try it. Ha ha

We also discussed last night’s Adaptation of War and Peach (which is what this thread is turning into) . It was a magnificent spectacle seeing the past and Russia imperious majesty. This goty us to talking about what characters from a book would we be.

Taff,,, Don Quixote , the foolish but valent Knight errant

Pooch,,, Tom Joad , from The Grapes of Wrath ,, just and ready to fight injustice

So chums if you made it this far

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

Have Fun . Keep it classy , a tad sassy and never literally trashy

Taff and Pooch

I was going to be really pretentious and think of someone who would really fit me....

Then I decided to be honest and just admit who I actually would like to be:

Elizabeth Darcy (nee Bennet)

Granny Weatherwax from the Discworld novels because she's freakin' awesome and takes no shit, plus she gets to ride a broomstick.

Or Charlotte Gray for her adventurousness and bravery.

A female Harry Potter character. Strongest female role models I've ever come across in literature... and my profile reflects as such.

Or Belle from Beauty & The Beast... "with a dreamy far off look, and her nose stuck in a book..."
