You don't need to book a cam appointment with someone from the forums. Just go in a cam room and ask someone in there to verify you

Fist time I was on here it was 6 months before I even realised that there was such a thing as verification;

Didn't prevent me meeting people.

In fact I only found out about it when I got an angry message from a woman asking me why I hadn't verified her, because she had left one for me....

If it's important to you, Go to a social. It will make no diference either way in getting meetings.

I don't agree that being verified makes no difference.

In my early days on Fab the majority of my knockbacks were because I was unverified.

I think a verification can help sometimes.

But they're not necessarily the b all and end all.

I personally do not need the recommendations of total strangers to decide whether I meet another stranger for sex or not.

In seven years I don't think I've met anyone verified. The last unverified meet I had moved in.

Reading some of the horror stories it seems some people lack common sense and due diligence: relying on the verification system instead of their own judgement.

But it's a site tool and we use/don't use as we see fit.

I don't use the verification system to determine if I'll meet that person or not.

I use it to help me assess if they are real, look like their photos and the likelyhood they will actually turn up.
