It is not used that much but just need a company who are decent and to support jobs over here prefer UK call centers.

We have heard O2 have uk call centers and also tesco and gif gaf who use O2 but nothing confirmed. Please help folks. Thanks

Giff Gaff are the most reasonably priced. All support is online based forums though, no phone support.

Works on O2 masts so if you've bad signal with O2, it's not gonna be great.

O2 is ok as you can use credit on Google play for other phones or tablets if you have any

Online support is ok if it is good support. Do you know if they are good online or not. This is not a main phone so if support is ok then that is an idea. Failing that is O2 online too or phone support.

(Thanks for the reply)

Gift Gaff is SO cheap that they can't pay overheads to cover support. Not sure what you'd really need from them that can't be covered by a quick Google search anyway. Not much goes wrong with Pay As You Go.

If support is important, you'll have to pay more. 3 is okay and so is O2.

Pay and go normally easy enough (until last night). Put £15 on my current pay n go and the credit was not showing. (Normally instant). Then had to call them up which would not work as the credit was £0 and it wanted 25p to contact customer services. Took ages to finally get through to someone who then thought it was very funny and laughed. They told me that there was a glitch and that the credit could take a few hours to be added but they would be taking some credit off me for calling customer services. He then put the phone on the side while I was talking and started talking to his mate. So when he was talking I was really childish and put my phone next to the ipad and played pac man for a bit. How bad am I. Just good to know if there is a problem there is someone to communicate with.

Only need a Pay N Go one with no regular payments but just top up when the credit goes low.

Wish all companies we as reliable as fab. I come on here, ask a question, and all the fabbers come to the rescue within minutes.

Really appreciated.

Do Gif Gaf do pay n go. Currently it looks like contract and even though only £5 a month I already have a phone contract so just need a pay n go for the swing phone.

It's not a contract but you can pay a certain amount a month for an allowance (better deals) or top up and pay as you go.

Wow one thing that I noticed in all the PM's and the messages on here. People are not recommending the company that claim to be the best and the biggest. Just shows you.

Thanks to all who helped with the ideas. My company have offered me 25p in compensation to keep me as a customer lol... Nice eh.... Feel so wanted.

Maybe ask for a better deal if you've two phones. I stayed with Vodafone and my bill went from £42 to £7.50 a month. Now got a new phone so back up to £19.50 for unlimited everything. I've been with them around 10 years or so though.

I was a trialist for ONE2ONE which went to T-MOBILE and now EE and was also a trialist for HUTCHINSON MICROTEL which then went to ORANGE and also now EE. We had phones free for a few months and were not allowed to show anyone as it was a secret lol. There were HELLO adverts everywhere. My account number is something like 00000005 lol. They do not like the idea I am going to leave but I am a firm believer of not stopping somewhere because you have been there a while, go where you are welcome. So with all the messages I have got on here and PM's there are a few alternatives to try. The contract phones will follow soon. For the price I am paying now I can get a tablet and a phone with another company. As when I upgrade my contract I am forced onto the merged company they take away all the benefits that I had so no reason to stay.

Well I sent off for free sims from GIF GAF and o2. The idea was that by the time the sims came through I would know which one to bring it over to. So two sim cards come through from o2 and the numbers are close to each other and I like it when me and my partner have numbers close to each other. So my thought is to bring it over to gif gaf. Solved. So when I activate the gif gaf the text came through to say here is your number. WOW it is a memorable number. I do not want to lose it. Soooooo.... Ordered more sims lol.... So now we got 4 new numbers. So add them to the list of numbers. Had to order more sims as I am getting my number from off T Mobile on to another company. So still need to get another sim. I have too many numbers lol

That sounds expensive. I guess with sim only it may not be that bad...
