Was suppose to move in to new house in two weeks it's not ready my house sold so ower wants me out monday

When we first moved here we didn't have anywhere to move into. We had to live out of a dumpy hotel with our two dogs for weeks while we sorted our shit out. It wasn't the best experience of my life.

Someone I know in a similar situation got a room over a pub at a reasonable rate as he was staying for a few weeks

You should have signed a contract and agreed an exchange date, if you knew your house wasn't going to be available for another 2 weeks where were you going to stay until then?

As he said though, its not ready but may well have been told a told when it would be and booked to sign contract for his house around that, it happens
