"Has anybody climbed/walked it? What's it like? I really really want to do it this year. " Depending on the route you take, or even by train ! It's a wonderful walk Make sure you're not wearing pixie boots or flip flips though, as I've seen some people do And be prepared for any changes in the weather too It takes five to six hours to climb and seven to ten miles depending on which path Have a look at the visit snowdonia website for more info

Would like to go back and give it a go again without negotiating the others first. " Well I k ow two good hill guides should you wish to return

"I want to climb to the summit of Scafell Pike this year as I only managed a third of it last year. Do you know which way you went ? And what was the reason for turning back ?" We started at Wasdale Head which we were told was slightly easier. I had to stop because of the rocks, I was scared I'd break my ankle clamouring over them. My legs were killing too. Im just too unfit for it. I would like to do it though.

"Try Pen Y Fan. Hope to do that this year" Much more fun than joining the queues at the top of Snowdon. People walk up Snowdon because its the highest. It's popular and everybody should do it, once. I've done three or four routes. Nicer walk / scrambles in snowdonia are Trefin and the glyders.

"Has anybody climbed/walked it? What's it like? I really really want to do it this year. " Lots of times .There are several different paths to climb. Some easier than others. Hope you get a clear day for your climb .Nothing worse than getting all that way and not seeing anything at the top. Xx

Love going above the clouds..... x Too right Granny, I went up Ben Nevis in ma shorts because it was a nice sunny day, no fecker told me there would be snow at the top " many years ago, myself and others on a mountain leaders course had to aid and assist down some trainer and shorts clad Californians from the top of Nevis.. we had had to rope up on the knife edge and asked them why they didn't turn back when they hit the snow line, answer along the lines of 'we have bigger hills in California'.. hey ho..

" Aye, it was bloody cold up there. A mountain rescue helicopter nearly blew us off the hillside whilst coming to somebody else's rescue. Ma ex thought one of the crew was waving at her instead of understanding that he meant to take cover behind the nearest large boulder
